After two years of building the company together, Terry and the company worked tirelessly through some issues, while I worked tirelessly crafting this book for readers like Michael Warden the sojourner, who blogged earlier today,

“Clairvaux Manifesto: A Personal Odyssey of Spirituality at Work” by Kirk Bartha — Part autobiography, part poetry, part instruction manual, part wisdom literature reminiscent of great Christian mystics of the past, this is not a book that can be easily labeled–or easily put down. Truthfully, it’s more art than a linear text; the kind of book you don’t read so much as open yourself to, and let it have its effect. So far I’m deeply moved by the effect it’s having on me.

Writing Clairvaux Manifesto was about me digging hard after Jesus as He was digging easily through me. As I was hunting and gathering my heart, I kept imagining the sequel being entitled Woodthorpe; book end journeys. There was so much more to say, so many more adventures. I wanted readers to know my friend Terry’s story. I wanted to witness Terry share his own life story, in narrative and movie form (an incredible storyboard). I wanted to put a good man, with a good heart, on display for everyone to see, hear, and learn from!

As 2010 begins, I’m closer to seeing those wonderful dreams fulfilled. I’m rolling up my sleeves of prayer and work (ora et labora), because I’ve just been invited to sit as CEO of Woodthorpe Petroleum Ltd.

First and foremost, I am doing this for the glory of God, and because I dearly love this man!

It’s time to rediscover energy, redevelop financially, and redeploy globally!
