thresholds

barrier lakeThis picture of Barrier Lake is my background on Twitter. Clairvaux Manifesto is full of many such moments – getting down at ground level, seeing the layers, capturing movement and light, viewing distant things beyond seemingly huge obstacles; just pebbles, small potatoes – beautiful just the same.

One month since official release, and we are starting to get feedback from various readers in various contexts. It’s an honor and privilege to hear and respond (let us know your thoughts: info at clairvaux manifesto dot com).

Bach and Beauty

Banff coffee shop. Bach playing loud and clear. 29% battery left on my phone. Nate off school in an hour. Dar working at Cause today.

Thinking a lot about love and grace and the supply and cost of both. I can’t find a better example than Jesus; boundless grace, the definition of love.

Valiant, defiant, brilliant, radiant… Truly worthy of all praise, glory, honor; all power found in him, beneath him. He is above all. He holds everything together.

I am crucified with Christ. I am alive in Christ Jesus, my Lord and my God, in whom there is nothing misleading or false. The core of my confession is the beauty of his name… His Name!
